Jeremy Eames andSteve Griffiths catch up on this week's tech news, including the internet's birthday and self-driving taxis.
Our first guest this week is Darren George of Equinox 3D who regales Steve Griffiths with tales from his past of creating kit cars for Formula 1 and nearly get carried away discussing their mutual love of motorsport. Getting back on track, Steve asks Darren more about his year old business creating fairly complex 3D printed models. Jeremy Eames finally learns what exactly this wondrous marvel 3D printing is and how it could apply to both food and plastic.
Next up we have our second ever unboxing of the Suunto Spartan Ultra live on the TechTalk show. Do our hosts and guest think this £549 sports tracking watch rocks or will they be putting it back in the box?
For our business segment this week, Sue Nelson interviews Paul Andrews of Jobs In Kent on the beginnings of the internet and how it fitted into what we already considered business. Do you remember Dog Pile? Nope? Neither does Sue.
Finally on today's show we have our first ever phone guest, Peter Lancaster of documobi who talks Steve through the innovative app documobi and how to connect media holders to help tell a more complete story. Jeremy tries to nab some tips from experienced presenter Pete and we find out more about his impressive and extensive journey through tech before landing at documobi.
