This week's TechTalk kicks off with the news that drone racing is going to become a legitimate sport that is marked to become as popular as F1 and Jeremy Eames and Steve Griffiths are looking forward to checking it out. We discover that Steve now has sore thumbs due to spending his week playing Unbox! The boys are still talking about the travesty that is iPhones Airpods - will we ever get over the trauma of the headphone jack removal?
Our first guest Jonathan Bucket of Pragmatic Integration is a business management specialist who rather surprisingly started out as a civil engineer! Jonathan has improved countless people's working lives by developing a good document management system freeing up people's time and space, and making all information accessible, in one place and using Microsoft Office. Easy peasy.
Next up we have Harry Wall and Chris Havenhand with this week's box ready for our live unboxing segment. This week Jeremy gets the honour this week and tries to work out how to use the IPEGA wireless bluetooth gaming controller. Harry asks a few questions posed live from Twitter whilst Jeremy blindly - and without the aid of instructions - tries to fit his phone in the controller. The men in the studio bond over their lack of ability to use instructions. Do we think this affordable, but poorly packaged controller is a worthy investment that rocks, or will it go back in the box.
Liam Tootill of Supa Academy meets Sue Nelson in our pre recorded segment where we find out his top tips for starting a business based around your passions and interests. Having challenged people's perceptions of young people and encouraging youth involvement in the world around them, Liam offers us his wisdom for anyone starting out in business today. How much can you learn by making mistakes? Is business more about who you know or what you know and how do you find a balance between them both?
Our final guest is Tom Catnatch of Studio Graphene who started out as a marketer, and now helping people realise their dreams by building apps and products for clients with innovative visions. Tom shares Studio Graphene's commitment to keeping things clean, simple and to the point and Steve is interested in how work methods have drastically changed in recent years and if perfection is important for launching a product. We also find out about the very important drunk user test!
