It’s the time of year for the office Christmas parties, but Steve Griffiths and Dan Hawkes managed to keep clear enough heads to present another fantastic Tech Talk Show.
Our guests were in great form too, and Adam Hempenstall was the first to take to the mic to tell us all about his company, Better Proposals. They have developed software to make the world of writing proposals easier and far more organised.
Next up, we had our usual Unboxing segment. It took Dan a while to figure out what he was opening, but everybody else was impressed with the mystery product. Take a listen to find out what we had.
Following that, we heard some more from a fantastic company at the Get Social Event last month. Glen Boggis from Ivy Rock Solutions gave us the lowdown on his bespoke web solutions.
Last but not least, we had a great chat with Jeremy Dalton. He’s something of a VR expert and gave us his thoughts on the best devices on the market in the run-up to Christmas and projections on the future of VR.

It’s Black Friday-eve, though neither Steve nor Dan are impressed at this year’s deals so they jump straight into a pre-record interview with Chris Barnes from Sendible. We met Chris at the Get Social event, therefore it’s fitting that the programme helps you post across all Social Media platforms.

Steve Griffiths and Dan Hawkes take to the mic for another week of TechTalk, and once again, there’s plenty to discuss.
Now it isn’t easy to setup your own business at the age of 16 but our guest, Tom Keeping, managed it with his company Keeping & Co. Now 21-years-old, Tom is still the Managing Director of the marketing specialists who are going from strength to strength.
This week also saw our first clean sweep for ‘it rocks’ on our Unboxing product, so make sure you listen-in to what caused this landmark moment. Even the usually sceptical Dan was impressed.
We then heard some more from our trip to AppsWorld last month, with Dan and Steve chatting to Gustè Sadunykaitè of TransferGo – they talk about the transferring money around the world.

After a couple of AppsWorld specials, Steve Griffiths and Dan Hawkes return to the TechTalk studio for a busy show minus any talk of Trump.
Ever wondered what the gaming industry is like for a developer? - Well we started the show in conversation with Rudolf Kremers from Omni Systems Limited. They develop games and gave us an idea of what it's like to be in the industry and informed us on some exciting projects they have in the pipeline- including a Plant Wars-style title.

It was all change in the TechTalk studio this week as Dan Hawkes made his presenting debut alongside Steve Griffiths, and what a week to get started on…
The show opened up right away with a live telephone interview with Simon Benson on the day that PlayStation VR launched. Simon is the Director of the Immersive Technology Group at Sony Computer Entertainment – the company behind the launch. Steve and Dan are understandably excited…
We then met our studio guest Anthony, who is on a mission to improve internet connection for businesses in low-signal areas. Anthony explained further how his company Optimity Ltd works to eradicate these issues.
Unboxing proved to be a divisive topic this week as opinions were split on the wearable health item that producer Chris had unearthed earlier in the week.
Our Tech Savvy this week was Hannah Wilkins, a partner at Eversheds – Sue Nelson dug a little deeper to find out some interesting facts on employment law a must listen to anybody running their own business.
Last but certainly not least, Liane joined us on the phone. Liane is on a mission to get more children into coding by making it enriching and fun for them, under the banner of her company MamaCodes.

Jeremy Eames and Steve Griffiths catch up over the latest tech news including Toyota’s tiny companion robot and Google’s new phone.
First guest in the studio today is Richard Rowley of Fold Digital who is helping Steve tackle the minefield that is creating relevant and consumer focussed websites. Jeremy wants to know whyRichard thinks people don’t focus more on SEO. Steve’s keen to dig out the vital details which create Google prominent search results and Richard offers some great business advice regarding being yourself.
Next up we have our ever popular unboxing segment with the Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 which is supposed to be much faster at juicing up your phone than traditional chargers. Find out if it really is that quick at the end of the show. Find out if it rocks or goes back in the box.
For our Tech Savvy segment this week, we have Ruth Duncan from RNFBA talking to Sue Nelson about how to look after your work cash. Sue and Ruth get tough on non-payers and think people need to be aware of their worth.
Finally we meet Tom Cole from IntegratedTechnologies who’s refusing to let us in on his closely kept MedTech secrets,despite all of Steve’s probing. Steve is keen to find out how much change Tom has seen in his 40 years of experience. He’s the man to talk to if you want to find out more about the latest wearable MedTech, helping people stay independent.
